I was in the market for a new dentist as my insurance changed. My coworkers highly recommended Dr. CHAW & HER TEAM. Getting an appointment was easy.. getting my info was easy as well as they could take that thru texts.
Upon arriving.. I met my tech(I forgot her name, sorry) she was so sweet & friendly. Then, Dr. CHAW came in all bubbly and happy to work on me. I've had many dentists from Conyers, Woodstock & Buckhead over the years. This team was by far the hardest working, most thorough group. My teeth has never had such a intrinsic exam. Upon leaving.. I felt like part of the family there. And.... I didn't dare want to eat nor drink to mess up their hard work inside my mouth. My teeth felt brand new.

I’ve been coming to this practice for 25 years and there is no dental office in Atlanta that takes better care of its patients. Other dental specialists who’ve seen my teeth say their work is top notch. You won’t find a dentist who goes above and beyond more than Dr. Chaw. She is fantastic!!

I've been seeing Dr. Plunkett since I was a kid (25+ years) and have always had a wonderful experience there! They have consistently been very inviting, caring, and helpful team over the years. Since Dr. Chaw joined the team, everything has been equally professional and awesome! I've never had a bad experience there and love how everyone has stayed so positive and welcoming over the years (even when they haven't seen me in a while!). I could not ask for a better team of dentists who show the same level of care for all their clients and work hard to ensure everyone has a comfortable experience there. I went to Plunkett & Chaw Dental for the first time, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. The staff was so kind and made me feel comfortable. When Dr. Chaw saw me, she did a thorough exam and explained what she was looking for and why it was important. This helped me learn and be more preventative in the future. I believe I first went to Dr. Chaw back in 2019 for a toothache. Prior to that visit, I would only go to a dentist once every few years, typically when a friend would be horrified when they'd find out how long it had been between visits. Simply put, I never enjoyed going to the dentist. My wife on the other hand, is someone that does believe in seeing a dentist every 6 months, but she would schedule her dental appointments for when we'd go back home to NYC. When my wife's dentist moved to New Jersey, I told her to try Dr. Chaw. Now we're both go every 6 months and we're very happy with the care and service offered by Dr. Chaw and her team.

It was my first time with Dr. Chaw today. I have seen many dentists in all my years. This is THE MOST THOROUGH, COMPREHENSIVE exam and cleaning I have ever had. My son and I have been coming here for several years now and can’t imagine going anywhere else. Since, we have moved but the friendly staff and Dr. Plunkett and Dr. Chaw are worth the 45 minute to 1 hour commute. They are ALWAYS ethical, fair and make sure the procedure is completed correctly. Dr. Chaw was great and caring today. I fully trust her with our smiles and consider her family. She even checks on us later! Let me start on a good note. She is very patient on answering your questions. She makes sure you have all the information and doubts clarified. I have never seen anyone being this good. And she cleans the teeth very good too.
But i felt she is bit expensive when coming to the treatment, i feel she is really good for serious conditions but i have a feeling that for mild problems you will end up spending more.
Other problem i faced which really turned me down is, after the regular cleaning all our family members started having serious sensitivity issues which never happened before to any one of us.

What a great dentists office!! I am beyond pleased with my first appointment (in five years) with Dr. Chaw. From the very beginning, the whole crew at Plunkett & Chaw was warm, welcoming, and very patient. The ladies up front answered every question I had, and even called my insurance on the spot when they didn’t have the answer. Betty, Dr. Chaw’s assistant who was in charge of getting teeth images made the lengthy process seem quick. She was very pleasant to speak with in between images. She has incredible bed side manner, professionalism, and is very knowledgeable of her work. Last but not least, my new favorite dentist: Dr. Chaw!!! I had not been to the dentist in a very long time (COVID & lack of insurance), but Dr. Chaw was patient with me and all of my questions. Although she was wearing a mask, I could tell she was smiling the whole time. She loves what she does, and she is very professional! This was an in-depth first/new patient visit, and I am so happy with the practice I chose!

I just feel like this needs to be said.. Dr. Chaw has an assistant named Aubrey and she’s completely unprofessional.. her communication is terrible and she attempts to belittle people when she speaks to them. If she is employed by Dr. Chaw, I can only imagine him to be the same if not, worse.

I believe these are the best dentists in Dunwoody. I never thought I'd say this in my life, but I'm happy to go to the dentist here. The staff at Plunkett and Chaw Dental are always pleasant, and I feel like they treat me like a person and not just a number. Always great to see them, and I feel good after the visit. The hygienist and Dr. Chaw are gentle, very knowledge from what I can tell and never try to pressure me to do any procedures I'm not comfortable with. I always love my visit to Dr. Chaw. I have kept her as my dentist even though I moved four hours away from Atlanta three years ago. The reason I have chosen to keep her as my dentist is because I trust her. She has done some extensive work on my teeth, and she always does a great job… and here is the big thing to me… I’ve never had any pain when she worked on my teeth. That’s HUGE to me. The staff is friendly and always treats me with care.

I absolutely love Plunkett & Chaw. It's my favorite dental service and Dr. Chaw is my favorite dentist of all time. Most people are anxious or scared about going to the dentist, but when I go to the dentist, I go with a smile on my face because I know I'm in good hands, and it's a pleasant and relaxing experience for me, because there's no pain at all in consultations! Try it for yourself, because I really love going to this dentist, and it has also helped me understand more about my health, the importance of flossing before brushing, and general tips to improve my health that I otherwise wouldn't have known.

Dr. Chaw and Vickie performed my comprehensive exam and teeth cleaning. They both did an excellent job and also provided detailed instructions on how to better take care of my oral health. It truly felt like they cared about me as a patient rather than dollar signs (I have previously gone to other dentists that would continue to try to sell me excess services). I am happy to have found such a great dental practice!

I had a great experience in this clinic every time I come for my dental needs. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. My dentist, Dr. Chaw and her assistant Ms. Betty are very pleasant and caring. They’re very professional, making sure I get the proper dental care in details. Upon arriving.. I met my tech(I forgot her name, sorry) she was so sweet & friendly. Then, Dr. CHAW came in all bubbly and happy to work on me. I've had many dentists from Conyers, Woodstock & Buckhead over the years. This team was by far the hardest working, most thorough group. My teeth has never had such a intrinsic exam. Upon leaving.. I felt like part of the family there. And.... I didn't dare want to eat nor drink to mess up their hard work inside my mouth. My teeth felt brand new.
